DAY FOUR _ CLAY ANIMATION

Hey everyone! I was so impressed with the great work that you are all doing. You all morph that clay so naturally!

Here is the pixilation that you as a class team completed:

Click HQ to experience the video better.

FRIDAY is our screening. Make sure to give the invitations to your families and friends to come and see all of the hard work that you've been doing this week.
Make sure to practice your filmmaker introductions!

Our deadline to finish animating is Thursday at 10:30
so that we will have time to create our sound effects.
Our silly symphony game will help us come up with some interesting sounds.

  1. Here is a link to clayanimator.com. a site about stop motion animation with links to a number of programs. It also has a very simple, free program Stop Motion Animator for download. It's much simpler than MonkeyJam (what we've used in the past, see below). If you run Stop Motion Animator on Windows Vista, you have to run it as administrator (right click on the program name in the menu, then select "Run as administrator"). I just found it tonight, so I can't say how good it is, but it does seem much simpler than MonkeyJam.

Here is a link to MonkeyJam, the stop motion capture program I mentioned in the screening. It takes a bit of extra fiddling to get working.

Please donate to these project if you use them.
